ENGL:  Revenues of my new book are foreseen for the Training Cdenter of the Chagossian people in Mauritius. Every cent is welcome there!

The recent book  "Island of Shame", by Professor David Vine, Princeton Press (USA) 2008 recalls the story of the Chagossian people, chased in 1970 from their home land Diego Garcia; their island became  an US military basis for submarine nuclear weapons and ships; Vine is fighting together with the refugees for reimbursement and return to their home island;

The foundations of  a Training Center for the Chagossian people  were laid down in "Point de Sables", close to the city of Port Louis. The center will help young Chagossians to be trained in informatics and languages.   Contributions will come from the European Union, the British High Commissioner and Mauritius. Construction work will be done by the Chagossians themselves. Donations are most welcome.

DE: Einnahmen aus meinem  Buch (Stammzellenkrieg) sind dem Bau des Trainingszentrums für Flüchtlinge aus Diego Garcia (Insel Mauritius) gewidmet. Ihre Insel, die sie 1970 Hals über Kopf verlassen mussten, dient als US Militärstützpunkt & für Einsätze im Irak und Afghanistan.
